Is it the sky? Or is it the hills of Meghalaya? What adds this beautiful image its completeness? Unknown to me. I went to visit Sunamganj, a small town city about 70 kilometers away from Sylhet. Sunamganj is a border district. It has stretches of Indian and Bangladeshi border across it. While I was filming the beauty of the great Meghalaya, was astonished by the image I found in the area. The sky was getting darker as I was moving away from the hills. Still the intensity of nature and the darkness added some visions in my mind. For the first time may be I noticed two kinds of color adding up in a single sky. The sky that was right opposite of the sun added mystery to my thoughts. The sky with the sun had so much redness to see. So, little to wait for, and so eager to take away this event in my camera, in my own memory, that will never fade as I grow older.
I was wondering what it would be like to stay in this landscape forever? What should be missing in my life? I have to live in Dhaka, for reasons, for life more appropriate answer would be for money. Mentally the satisfaction level living in Dhaka is zero. Still we have to come back, we have to run through the streets full of filth. And that makes us anxious time to time to get back to a place so detached from the modern life styles. Detached even from the electricity or mobile networks. These days, its hard to find a place so precious and blissful.
